Volunteer with us
Thinking about ways to get involved with Friends? We have several volunteer opportunities you can take part in around the Center, including: organizing our foster care closet, packing quilts and stuffed animals into foster care bags, organizing our comfort corner books and stuffed animals, and decorating the waiting room for different seasons and holidays. We also ask for volunteers to help with our larger events, such as our April Awareness Month, Hope & Healing fundraiser, and Back to School and Holiday Gift Projects.

Please note that, due to the security and confidentiality of our clients, we do not currently offer volunteer services that directly involve children.
Ways to Donate
Donations and contributions help us keep our mission alive! Whether it’s through in-kind gifts such as new or gently used clothing and stuffed animals, books in good condition, or monetary contributions, your generosity goes a long way!
For in-kind donations, give us a call at 808-445-1873 to schedule a drop-off at our Center. When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out a donation form.

Equip Our Mission
Our foster care closet and comfort corner play vital roles at our Center, each supporting children in unique ways. Keeping these spaces well-stocked ensures that every child who comes through our doors receives the support and comfort they need.
Donations for both the closet and comfort corner are always needed, as supplies can run out quickly based on daily demand. The foster care closet, in particular, often lacks a wide range of clothing sizes, making it challenging for some children to find what they need.
